Today’s outfit uses one of my favorite style concepts: feeling like you’re wearing loungewear while looking put together. I really love playing with texture when I’m working with a monochrome outfit, and this look is a perfect example! The foundation I built from is the satin trousers, which I picked up at a really affordable price from Target because I wasn’t sure if I could pull them off. However, they’ve become one of my favorite things to wear for comfy-yet-chic days! I paired the trousers with a cashmere-blend top that’s incredibly soft and slipped on a burgundy cardigan to add a little more color while staying within the same family. This was a comfy work-from-home day, so slippers were my footwear of choice. The whole look is the perfect recipe for cozy productivity!
