Being a pretty petite person, I often hesitate to wear oversized outfits because I just feel like I’m drowning in them. But I love seeing oversized looks on other people, so I decided to give it a try! I snagged these pleated trousers on major sale from Everlane and I’m so happy I did. They need a good steam, but the tencel-cotton fabric is so soft and drapes beautifully, as the name suggests. I paired the trousers with a polo-neck sweater and a pair of heeled boots, then literally pulled everything together with a brown belt! I still feel more comfortable when either my bottoms or my top are more fitted, but cinching everything together with a belt helped add some shape to the outfit. I can’t wait to style these trousers more ways through the rest of winter and into fall!
