My husband is planning on going back to school soon, and on Saturday we went to an admissions event at one of his potential options. I wanted to wear something that felt relaxed and casual, but also cool and maybe a little bit academia-inspired. Based on a Pinterest photo I saw, I decided to wear a pair of favorite leggings with an oversized ribbed sweater. I went with a striped button down for a pop of pattern and interest at the collar, then layered on ankle socks, my favorite Adidas sneakers, and a baseball cap. I found this gem in the men’s section at Target and I love it! I finished everything off with a long wool topcoat. And I decided that I had succeeded in my outfit goals when I got a compliment from one of the administrators at the college! :) This was such a fun look to put together, and I’m looking forward to using this combo again with different colors/pieces in the future!
